Savin Copier “Scan to Folder” Quick Start

This option may be useful for a situation when a signature, graphic or other information, that is not available in electronic format, needs to be archived or sent as an attachment in an email.

  1. Place the sheet(s) to be scanned in a face-up position into the document feeder.
  2. Press the Scanner button located on the bottom left corner of the Control Panel area.
  3. On the touch-screen area, press down on your name in the list, in order to select your folder as the destination for the PDF file of the scanned sheet(s). If your name is not shown, then press down on the down-arrow icon, until your name is displayed.
  4. Press the big green Start button on the lower right corner of the Control Panel area.
  5. After the copier completes scanning the sheet(s), the PDF file is created and should now be located in your folder.
  6. Remove the sheet(s) from the copier and return to your computer to access the PDF file.
  7. Double-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop.
  8. Click to the right of the "Address" area to place the cursor in the "Address" field.
  9. Enter //Dg177r01/Scan_Images/ in the "Address" area, and then press enter.
  10. Double-click on your name in the "Folder" list to display the scanned PDF file(s) in your folder.
